Modular Building Kit #1
This set is scaled to 25-28mm figures making it perfect for 40k, Necromunda, Contemporary/Sci-Fi Roleplaying and pretty much anything else scaled to 25-28mm. This kit comprises a set of modular wall and floor sections with supports for creating buildings. There are a total of 55 modular pieces which come as:
- 8 Gothic Window Sections
- 3 Gothic Arched Doors Sections
- 6 Bulkhead Sections
- 10 Floor Sections
- 28 Pillar/Support Sections
These modular sections are highly detailed and offer an endless variety of building possibilities from mammoth multi story buildings perfect for sniper squads to sprawling single level habitats suitable for fierce close combat. Each modular section is cast as an undamaged piece allowing you not only to decide how damaged you want your building, but also allowing you to then use to damaged pieces as wreckage to add additional realism.
The modular pieces have been designed to create a heavy gothic feel perfect for the Warhammer 40k universe but also suitable for almost any sci-fi or steampunk style game.
The photos above show the modular kit designed as a single four story structure which is the approximate height of Games Workshop's Basilica Administratum. The total table area covered is larger than the Basilica (each wall section is about 8.5" in length). The diagrams show the layout for the four story structure as well as another possible layout giving you 2 x two story sections and one single story section and possible positioning of the modular wall sections in order to create a particular feel. Obviously, the possiblities are endless.
The model is supplied in parts and requires assembly. Due to the casting process it may be necessary to trim flashing from the model prior to assembly. The set is made from high quality cast resin which means it's solid and sturdy and shaped exactly like the item shown on the photos.
The model can also be drilled or sanded quite easily for further modelling. Each model comes unpainted (base colour white/beige). Some assembly required.
